Sage Media is a fractional executive and AI implementation consultancy operated by Kevin Hansberger, based in Hobart, Indiana. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect the personal information you provide when engaging with sagemedia.co.

2. Information We Collect

When you complete a contact or application form on this site, we may collect the following:

  • Full name, title, and company name
  • Email address and phone number
  • Company website and industry
  • Business details you provide to help us evaluate fit — for example, approximate annual revenue, team size, current marketing and operational setup, and budget range
  • Any additional details you choose to share in open-ended questions

We do not collect government ID numbers or health information. Any business financial details you voluntarily share, such as revenue or budget ranges, are used solely to evaluate whether our services are a fit for your company, as described below.

3. How We Use Your Information

The information you provide is used solely to:

  • Respond to your inquiry
  • Evaluate whether your business is a fit for our services
  • Schedule and conduct strategy calls or consultations
  • Follow up regarding Sage Media services
  • Maintain records of our business communications

4. How We Store Your Information

Your contact and application information is stored securely within Sage Media's internal systems, which may include our CRM and internal messaging tools (see Third-Party Services below). We take reasonable technical and organizational precautions to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may interact with your browsing session or the information you submit:

  • Cloudflare — Provides hosting, CDN, and analytics services. Cloudflare may collect technical data such as IP addresses and page visit information as part of its standard infrastructure services.
  • Microsoft Clarity — Provides behavioral analytics, including heatmaps and session recordings, so we can understand how visitors use this site and improve it. Clarity may use cookies and collect technical data such as device type, browser, approximate location, and on-page interactions (clicks, scrolling, mouse movement). See Microsoft Clarity's privacy statement for details on how this data is handled.
  • Google Fonts — Delivers web font files required to render this site. Google may log font requests as part of serving these files.
  • Slack — Application form submissions are forwarded to our internal Slack workspace so our team can review and respond to your request.

We do not use advertising trackers or retargeting pixels. Our analytics tools are not configured to intentionally collect personally identifiable information, though session recordings may incidentally capture on-page text or interactions if you enter information into a form field.

6. AI Tools & Data Handling

In running Sage Media and delivering AI Implementation engagements, we may use commercial AI tools (such as those offered by OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or similar providers) to support research, drafting, and workflow automation. Where client business information is used with these tools, we do so under each vendor's applicable business or API terms, which are generally structured to exclude submitted data from being used to train the underlying models.

Specific data-handling commitments for AI Implementation engagements — including which tools are used on your systems, data retention, and any client-specific restrictions — are addressed directly in your engagement agreement, since these details vary by project. 7. We Do Not Sell Your Data

We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. Period.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and to opt out of future communications at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@sagemedia.co.

9. Communications

If you provide your contact information, you may receive communications from Sage Media related to your inquiry, including by phone, email, or text. You can opt out at any time by replying "unsubscribe" (email) or "STOP" (text), or by emailing privacy@sagemedia.co.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most current version will always be accessible via this page. Material changes will be noted with an updated effective date.
